PRIVACY STATEMENT

The privacy of our clients’ personal information is of utmost importance and we adhere to federal and provincial privacy legislation.  Information about clients is kept confidential unless a written consent has been obtained from the client to share particular information with outside parties. We are committed to collecting, using, and disclosing personal information only to the extent necessary in relation to the services provided.  There are some circumstances in which confidential information can be shared with the appropriate parties, without written consent from a client.  These are:

1. If a client indicates that he or she is in danger of harming him or herself or another person.
2. If there is apparent or suspected child abuse.
3. If a client reports (previously unreported) sexual abuse by a Regulated Health Care Professional.
4. When there is a legal court request for information.
